...Slow-moving thunderstorms will impact portions of northwestern
Whiteside, western Carroll, northeastern Rock Island, eastern Jo
Daviess, northwestern Stephenson, eastern Clinton and southeastern
Jackson Counties through 745 PM CDT...

At 607 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking slow-moving thunderstorms
along a line extending from near Savanna to Low Moor. Movement was
northeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph, minor flooding and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Strong winds could break small tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible. Slowing or redirecting of traffic due to ponding
         or flowing water. Closure of waterfront access due to
         flooding.

Locations impacted include...
Clinton, Camanche, Savanna, Lena, Stockton, Warren, Albany, Woodbine,
Sabula, Miles, Winslow, Low Moor, Nora, Andover, Massbach, Kent,
Thomson, Goose Lake, Malone, and Teeds Grove.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

If the heavy rain continues, a flash flood warning may be needed.
