...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 845 PM CDT
FOR NORTHERN JO DAVIESS...NORTH CENTRAL JACKSON AND EAST CENTRAL
DUBUQUE COUNTIES...

At 826 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Lead Mine to Council Hill to near St. Donatus,
moving east at 55 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Galena, Warren, Scales Mound, Apple River, Menominee, Council Hill,
St. Donatus, Schapville, Guilford, Canyon Camp, Apple River Canyon
State Park, Galena Territory, and Apple Canyon Lake.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for northwestern
Illinois...and northeastern and east central Iowa.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
sturdy building.

Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature`s leading
killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to
be struck by lightning.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
