No hazardous fire weather conditions are expected at this time. Winds and relative humidity values will remain outside of critical thresholds. Minimum RH values are expected to fall into the 40s this afternoon with high temperatures in the low 90s. This is generally around 10 degrees above normal for this time of year. Overnight lows will be in the low 70s. A few pop-up showers and possibly a few rumbles of thunder are possible along the GA/TN border. Winds will be light and generally SW although some periods of variable winds are possible, especially in the higher elevations where light winds and low transport winds will result in mostly terrain driven winds. A growing cumulus field across the fire zones is representative of the well forecasted mixing heights from this morning at around 6-7k ft.
