.SYNOPSIS...Very warm and dry conditions continue across the
Southwest as high pressure dominates. Winds will remain light each
day into next week varying between the south and east. This benign
weather pattern looks to persist for much of next week.

.DISCUSSION...Mid-level high peaks in amplitude over the next few
days, spiking daytime temperatures into record territory. Several
records were already set today, expect more Friday through Sunday.
Temperatures level off a bit next week, but still remain well above
normal. We will remain dry, with generally light winds through this
forecast period.

Some smoke is in the air, several managed fires are burning and
smoke may affect a few locations over the next few days. Other than
that, quiet as can be, no short term updates are needed tonight.

conditions and light winds. FU possible near KFLG, KGCN and KPAN.

OUTLOOK...Saturday 28/06Z through Monday 30/06Z...Expect VFR
conditions and light winds.

.FIRE WEATHER...Friday and Saturday...Dry and very warm conditions
persist for Friday and Saturday. Light easterly winds tonight will
continue through Friday at 5 to 15 mph. Winds shift to the south
on Saturday at 10 to 20 mph.

Sunday through Tuesday...Dry and warm conditions continue. Winds
southwesterly on Sunday, followed by easterly winds for Monday and
Tuesday. Wind speeds remain in the 10 to 20 mph range.
