Heavy rain and the potential for severe weather is in the mix and a very high number of lightning strikes are anticipated, especially across the Four Corners region. Drying begins Saturday, but enough moisture remains for scattered afternoon/evening thunderstorms. Showers/thunderstorms decrease Sunday through Tuesday as drier westerly flow settles over the region.
