...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN EAGLE...
SOUTHEASTERN ROUTT...NORTHEASTERN GARFIELD AND NORTHEASTERN RIO
BLANCO COUNTIES THROUGH 445 PM MDT...

At 414 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 16
miles southwest of Yampa, or 31 miles northeast of Glenwood Springs,
moving east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation and
         outdoor objects is possible.

Locations impacted include...
Yampa, Mc Coy, Burns, Phippsburg, and Toponas.

This includes the following highways...
 Colorado 131 between mile markers 19 and 49.
 Colorado 134 between mile markers 1 and 6.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM MDT for
northwestern and west central Colorado.
