Weather Summary for North-Central and Northeast Wisconsin
National Weather Service Green Bay WI
1031 AM CDT Thu Jun 20 2024

A band of showers continued to move across central and east-
central Wisconsin this morning. Most locations received anywhere
from one-quarter to one-half inch of rain. Otherwise, mostly to
partly sunny skies were reported across the north. Temperatures
ranged from a rain cooled lower 60s to the upper 60s over far
northeast Wisconsin.

For this afternoon, there may be a lull in the precipitation
early before the next chance of showers and thunderstorms start
to push in from the west. The likelihood of severe thunderstorms
is low, with lightning and heavy downpours the main concerns. It
will be cooler than recent days, with high temps near 70 degrees
and lower humidity.

A warm front will begin to slowly lift north tonight into Friday
and bring additional showers and storms to the region. Some of the
rain may be heavy at times starting Friday afternoon which may
lead to ponding on roads and lower visibility. Highs on Friday are
expected to be in the middle 60s north-central Wisconsin, mainly
lower 70s south.
