.Synopsis for Stonington ME to Merrimack River Ma out to 25 NM
A distant ocean storm continues to send waves into the Gulf of
Maine. Large seas...dangerous to small craft...are expected to
continue today, and tomorrow from Cape Elizabeth south. A low
pressure system will bring gusty winds and rain to the waters on
Thursday before a narrow area of high pressure is able to force its
way into the region. Seas will diminish as a result late this week.
