...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT EAST CENTRAL KENNEBEC...
NORTHWESTERN KNOX...WALDO AND NORTHEASTERN LINCOLN COUNTIES THROUGH
600 PM EDT...

At 518 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Winterport to near China. Movement was
southeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Augusta, Belfast, Camden, Lincolnville, Searsport, China, Liberty,
Palermo, Stockton Springs, Islesboro, Prospect, Rockport, Warren,
Winterport, Knox, Jefferson, Hope, Appleton, Frankfort, and Brooks.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 800 PM EDT for
south central Maine.
