.Synopsis For High Island to the Matagorda Ship Channel Out 60 NM
including Galveston and Matagorda Bays.

A cold front will push offshore Wednesday night. Light onshore
winds ahead of the front will become moderate to strong north to
northeast winds in the front`s wake. Seas will likely increase to
4 to 6 feet offshore on Thursday. Caution flags in the bays and
Small Craft Advisories offshore may be warranted. Showers and
thunderstorms are possible along and ahead of the front. Winds
should decrease somewhat by Friday and become more westerly over
the weekend.
