At 334 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Winnabow, or 9 miles southwest of Leland, moving east at 20 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Wilmington, Leland, Carolina Beach, Kure Beach, South Masonboro Island, Snows Cut, Boiling Spring Lakes, Bishop, Hightsville, Wilmington International Airport, Myrtle Grove, Masonboro, University Of North Carolina At Wilmington, Winnabow, Mill Creek, Town Creek, Silver Lake, Sea Breeze, Kings Grant, and Murrayville.
