SOUTHWESTERN COLUMBUS...SOUTHEASTERN FLORENCE...NORTH CENTRAL
GEORGETOWN...HORRY...SOUTHWESTERN MARION AND EAST CENTRAL
WILLIAMSBURG COUNTIES THROUGH 915 PM EDT...

At 830 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Mollie to near Gresham. Movement was
southwest at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Conway, Shallotte, Horry, Iredell, Tabor City, Loris, Bethel,
Johnsonville, Hemingway, Hickory Grove, Homewood, Freeland, Horry
Georgetown Technical College Conway Campus, Adrian, Nakina, Pee Dee
Crossroads, Poston, Exum, Bughill, and Brittons Neck.

This includes the following highways...
 US Route 17 in Brunswick County between mile markers 2 and 8, and
between mile markers 13 and 17.
 SC Highway 22 between mile markers 1 and 23.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature`s leading
killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to
be struck by lightning.

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM EDT for
southeastern North Carolina.
