central Illinois.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.

A few thunderstorms are possible this afternoon. An isolated damaging
wind gust is possible, but the more common risks are cloud to ground
lightning and heavy downpours.

Heat index values are expected to reach near 100 degrees this
afternoon.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

Heat index values will reach 100 to 105 degrees Monday afternoon.
Mid
to upper 90s daily peak heat index values will continue Tuesday
through Saturday.
