...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT CENTRAL MACON COUNTY THROUGH
1145 AM CDT...

At 1117 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Warrensburg, or near Decatur, moving east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Decatur, Forsyth, Harristown, Long Creek, Warrensburg, Argenta,
Oreana, Decatur Airport, and Oakley.

This includes Interstate 72 between mile markers 129 and 154.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
