...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN RICHLAND AND
NORTHWESTERN FRANKLIN PARISHES THROUGH 700 PM CDT...

At 617 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms near Hebert, or 8 miles northeast of Columbia, moving
northeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Winnsboro, Mangham, Baskin, Liddieville, Archibald, Buckner, and
Alto.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
