Waters from Altamaha Sound GA to Fernandina Beach FL from 20 to 60 NM... Waters from Fernandina Beach to St. Augustine FL from 20 to 60 NM... At 857 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated an area of thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. These thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 26 nm southeast of Jekyll Island to 11 nm east of Atlantic Beach, moving east at 15 knots. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher waves, and lightning strikes.
