SOUTHEASTERN FLEMING AND ROWAN COUNTIES THROUGH 1015 PM EDT... At 907 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms over Sharpsburg, or 10 miles northwest of Owingsville, moving east at 20 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Morehead, Owingsville, Marshall, Sharpsburg, Salt Lick, Ramey, Fannin Valley, Wyoming, Elliottville, Peasticks, Triplett, Flat Creek, Christy, Odessa, Hilda, Bourbon Furnace, Pebble, Sharkey, Bethel, and Oakley. THIS INCLUDES Interstate 64 in eastern Kentucky between mile markers 115 and 149. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
