At 719 PM EDT, National Weather Service meteorologists detected a squall line with embedded thunderstorms, capable of producing wind gusts near 30 knots. This squall line was located along a line extending from 12 nm southeast of Marathon Humps to 34 nm southeast of Floyd`s Wall Northeast, moving northeast at 25 knots.
