.NOW...
Through 3 pm, scattered showers with isolated embedded thunderstorms
across the Straits of Florida between Wood`s Wall East Crack and
Floyd`s Wall Northeast, as well as in the Gulf waters between the Dry
Tortugas and W Tower, will move north to northeast at 10 to 15
knots. Elsewhere, thunderstorms will move into the distant western
Straits of Florida over the next hour. Mariners encountering this
activity can expect moderate to heavy downpours reducing visibilities
below 2 miles, wind gusts nearing 30 knots, and occasional lightning
strikes within the stronger storms.
