Through 600 pm, isolated showers will wax nad wane as they track slowly eastward at 5 mph, across the island chain from Geiger Key to Layton, as well as the surrounding nearshore waters. The stronger cells will produce wind gusts of 20 to 25 mph, reduce visibility in heavy rain, and possibly a few lightning strikes. A few island locations may receive one quarter to one half of an inch of rain. $$
