.NOW...
Through 2 pm, isolated showers between the Middle Keys and the
distant eastern Straits of Florida will move to the northwest at
around 15 knots. Mariners encountering this activity can expect
brief periods of reduced visibilities in moderate to heavy downpours,
wind gusts of 20 to 25 knots, and possibly a rare lightning strike.
Some of these showers may reach the Middle Keys, and island
communities between Long Key and Marathon could receive around a
tenth of an inch of rainfall.
