.NOW...
Through midnight, scattered showers will continue to move northwest
across the island chain and adjacent nearshore waters, Gulf Water
near the Dry Tortugas and W Tower and north of the island chain, and
in the Straits of Florida at 15 to 20 knots. Mariners encountering
this activity can expect wind gusts approaching 30 knots, moderate to
heavy rainfall that will reduce visibilities below 3 miles, and a
few lightning strikes. On land, island communities in the Lower and
Upper Keys may receive a tenth to a quarter inch of rainfall within
these passing showers.
