Through 9 pm, isolated showers in the Straits of Florida between
Tortugas Ecological Reserve South and the Marathon Humps, the Hawk
Channel south of the Lower and Middle Keys, and in the SE Gulf
southeast of T Tower will continue to develop and move to the
northwest at near 10 knots. Mariners encountering this activity may
experience brief moderate to heavy downpours that will reduce
visibility below 3 miles, localized wind gusts of 20 to 25 knots, and
possibly a rare lightning strike.
