.NOW...
Through 930 pm, a couple squall lines with a few embedded
thunderstorms will sweep northwest at near 20 knots through the
nearshore and offshore waters surrounding the Lower and Middle Keys.
Mariners should prepare for locally confused seas, visibility
reductions in bouts of heavy downpours, and wind gusts of 30 to 35
knots. On land, island communities from Duck Key to Key West could
receive an additional quarter to half of an inch of rain causing
ponding of water in low level areas. Drivers should take caution in
squalls with wind gusts up to 35 mph.
