.NOW...
Through 730 pm, isolated showers will continue to develop in the
distant Straits of Florida around Elbow Cay and south of the Tortugas
Ecological Reserve. A line of thunderstorms moving off of Cuba may
enter the Straits over the next hour. These showers will move to the
northwest at 15 to 20 knots and mariners encountering this activity
can expect wind gusts near 25 knots, moderate to heavy rainfall that
will reduce visibilities below 3 miles, and possibly a few lightning
strikes.
