Through 800 am, isolated showers will move west northwest at 15
knots across the Lower Straits of Florida, western Hawk Channel, and
the nearshore and offshore Gulf waters from west of Key West out to
the Dry Tortugas. Mariners may encounter wind gusts around 25 knots,
reduced visibilities in heavy downpours, and possibly an occasional
lightning strike. On land, Key West may see light rainfall amounts
of a trace to a few hundredths of an inch.
