Through 600 PM, a broken outflow boundary of collapsed thunderstorms
across the southwestern Straits of Florida will spread to the north
and northwest over the western Hawk Channel and eventually into the
outer Gulf waters. There remain an isolated thunderstorm in the
eastern flank which will be capable of localized wind gusts near 30
knots, blinding downpours, and bouts of lightning. Movement of the
line will be to the northwest to north at 15 to 25 knots. Portions of
this boundary may clip portions of the Lower Keys and produce wind
gusts of 20 to 25 mph.
