667 FZUS54 KLCH 222025 CWFLCH Coastal Waters Forecast National Weather Service Lake Charles LA 325 PM CDT Sun Sep 22 2024 Coastal waters from the Lower Atchafalaya River LA to High Island TX out 60 nautical miles including Sabine and Calcasieu Lakes and Vermilion and Cote Blanche Bays Seas are provided as a range of the average height of the highest one third of the waves, along with the occasional height of the average highest ten percent of the waves. GMZ400-230845- 325 PM CDT Sun Sep 22 2024 .SYNOPSIS... High pressure will gradually shift east while low pressure moves across the plains today into early week. Onshore winds will increase through Tuesday along with an increase in showers. Wave will remain below 3 feet through mid week. NHC is still monitoring an area of disturbed weather in the Caribbean. Currently the hurricane center is giving the area a 80% chance of development with 40% over the next 48 hours.
