* Special Marine Warning for...
  Coastal waters from Intracoastal City to Cameron LA out 20 NM...

* Until 600 PM CDT.

* At 455 PM CDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near East Cameron
  71, or 17 nm southwest of White Lake, moving northwest at 5 knots.

  HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
           suddenly higher waves.

* Locations impacted include...
  East Cameron 23, East Cameron 33, Vermilion 22, East Cameron 71,
  and Vermilion 39.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Move to safe harbor immediately as gusty winds and high waves are
expected.

Frequent lightning is occurring with this storm. If caught on the
open water stay below deck if possible, keep away from ungrounded
metal objects.
