...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN JEFFERSON DAVIS
PARISH THROUGH 330 PM CDT...

At 303 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Thornwell, or near Lake Arthur, moving northwest at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Jennings, Welsh, Lake Arthur, Hayes, Thornwell, Lacassine, and
Roanoke.

This includes Interstate 10 in Louisiana between mile markers 49 and
64.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
