...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN CAMERON AND
SOUTHWESTERN CALCASIEU PARISHES...SOUTHWESTERN NEWTON AND EASTERN
ORANGE COUNTIES THROUGH 515 PM CDT...

At 443 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Toomey, or near Orange, moving southeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Orange, Vidor, Bridge City, West Orange, Vinton, Deweyville, Starks,
Sabine National Wildlife, Mauriceville, Pinehurst, Hartburg, Forest
Heights, Toomey, Orangefield, and Hackberry.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 10 in Texas between mile markers 880 and 867.
 Interstate 10 in Louisiana between mile markers 1 and 11.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
