...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN PORTER AND NORTHERN
JASPER COUNTIES THROUGH 115 PM CDT...

At 1251 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near DeMotte to 6 miles northwest of
Rensselaer. Movement was northeast at 25 to 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
DeMotte, Wheatfield, Roselawn, Fair Oaks, Parr, Dunns Bridge, Baileys
Corner, and Stoutsburg.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
