...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT EAST CENTRAL LAKE COUNTY THROUGH
130 PM CDT...

At 106 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Crown Point, moving northeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Gary, Merrillville, Hobart, Crown Point, Cedar Lake, Lakes of the
Four Seasons, and Winfield.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
