...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN OGLE...NORTHEASTERN
LEE AND SOUTHERN DE KALB COUNTIES THROUGH 815 AM CDT...

At 750 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7
miles south of Rochelle, moving east at 60 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
DeKalb, Rochelle, Shabbona, Cortland, Waterman, Hillcrest, Malta,
Creston, Lee, and Steward.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1100 AM CDT for
north central Illinois.
