.Synopsis for the southern California coast and Santa Barbara
Channel including the Channel Islands National Marine Sanctuary
and National Park...at 16Z, or 9 AM PDT, a 1032 mb surface high was
centered 975 NM W of Eureka, CA, while a 1003 mb thermal low was
located near the California-Nevada-Arizona borders. West to
northwest flow will increase today through Monday evening as a tight
surface pressure gradient develop over the coastal waters.
