.DISCUSSION...
Dry conditions expected through the mid afternoon. Hot
temperatures in the low to mid 90s expected this afternoon. A cold
front crosses the area this evening, producing numerous showers
and scattered thunderstorms in the Baltimore area. The most likely
time to see thunderstorms is from 5 PM to 8 PM. The strongest
storms will be capable of producing wind gusts of 40 mph or
greater, and frequent lightning strikes. Once the cold front
passes, a few additional showers/storms are possible through
around midnight.

High pressure will return for the weekend, bringing dry and much
more pleasant conditions as highs reach the mid 80s each day.

Much hotter conditions expected for most of next week, with highs
in the 90s each day.

                    and thunderstorms late in the afternoon.
                    Numerous showers and scattered thunderstorms
                    late in the afternoon.
