Low fire weather concerns will continue into next week. Afternoon min RHs will remain above critical levels with fairly light winds. Daily storm chances will be confined to areas west of the Pecos River for the most part. While wetting rains are possible, lightning and gusty erratic winds are a threat with any storm. Rain chances expand to the northern Permian Basin this weekend before we dry out next week.
