Fire Weather Planning Forecast for West Texas/Southeast New Mexico
National Weather Service Midland/Odessa TX
335 AM CDT Sun Jun 16 2024

.DISCUSSION...

Localized elevated to near critical fire weather conditions will
be seen mainly over SE NM and the Guadalupe Mountains as min RHs
out west end up between 10-15% through Tuesday. Isolated storms
over the Davis Mountains may lead to lightning starts, but with
light winds overall threat for fire spread/growth is low. Better
moisture moves in from the east from Wednesday through the end of
the week.
