Fire Weather Planning Forecast for West Texas/Southeast New Mexico
National Weather Service Midland/Odessa TX
146 PM CDT Fri Sep 20 2024

.DISCUSSION...

Widespread showers and storms delivering wetting rains are
expected to keep ERCs and fire weather conditions low. Good
overnight recovery, temperatures near to below average, light
winds, and min RH above critical will keep fire weather conditions
low into the end of next week. Fire starts from lightning and
gusty, erratic winds in storms over drier fuels are still
possible.
