Light west to southwesterly flow will remain intact across Florida today, gradually shifting to a south/southeast direction by the weekend. Scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms will develop each day as sea breezes progress inland and focus activity over the east coast at times. Locally gusty and erratic winds will be possible in and around thunderstorms. Maximum dispersion values will be fair to generally good across much of the region, decreasing to poor to fair on Friday as transport winds decrease.
