Fire Weather Forecast for southern Oregon and northern California
National Weather Service Medford, OR
228 PM PDT Fri Jun 28 2024

.DISCUSSION...A period of drying is anticipated through next
weekend with very little chances for rainfall in the forecast. At
this time, there is a very small chance for thunderstorms east
of the Cascades Saturday afternoon, but a slightly better chance
Sunday afternoon. High pressure returns in strength by midweek
next week, with heat ramping up, humidities dropping, and triple
digits possible just in time for the holiday. Elevated to critical
fire weather conditions could become a common theme next week, with
critical fire weather possible starting Tuesday.
