  Pamlico Sound...
  S of Cape Hatteras NC to Ocracoke Inlet NC out to 20 nm...
  S of Ocracoke Inlet NC to Cape Lookout NC out to 20 nm...
  S of Oregon Inlet NC to Cape Hatteras NC out to 20 nm...

* Until 545 PM EDT.

* At 448 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from near Pamlico Sound to near The Mouth Of The Neuse
  River, moving east at 25 knots.

  HAZARD...Wind gusts to 40 knots and small hail.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
           suddenly higher waves.

* Locations impacted include...
  Cape Hatteras, Hatteras Village, The Mouth Of The Neuse River,
  Hatteras Inlet, Ocracoke Inlet, Ar220, Ocracoke, The Center Of The
  Pamlico Sound, Cedar Island, and The Vicinity Of Cedar Island.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Move to safe harbor immediately as gusty winds and high waves are
expected.

Frequent lightning is occurring with these storms. If caught on the
open water stay below deck if possible, keep away from ungrounded
metal objects.
