THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR EAST CENTRAL FLORIDA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

.THUNDERSTORM IMPACT...
Scattered to numerous showers and scattered lightning storms are
forecast today. The primary threats will be occasional to
frequent lightning strikes, heavy rainfall, and localized wind
gusts up to 35 mph.

.EXCESSIVE RAINFALL IMPACT...
Deep moisture and slow moving storms will produce locally heavy
rainfall accumulating 1 to 3 inches in some spots in a short
period of time.

.EXCESSIVE HEAT IMPACT...
A Moderate Heat Risk exists across northern and coastal portions
of east central Florida today. Afternoon temperatures in the
upper 80s to low 90s combined with humid conditions will produce
peak heat indices of 98 to 103 today.

.RIP CURRENT AND SURF IMPACT...
There is a Moderate Risk of life threatening rip currents at all
central Florida Atlantic beaches today. Always swim near a life
guard.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY.
At least a Moderate Risk of dangerous rip currents will exist at
all central Florida Atlantic beaches early this week.

Scattered to numerous showers and lightning storms are forecast
each day mainly during the afternoon and early evening. The
primary threats will be cloud to ground lightning, gusty winds and
heavy rain.

Hot and humid conditions will prevail with a Moderate to Major
Heat Risk outlooked over east central Florida. It is recommended
to take frequent breaks out of the sun and drink plenty of water
during the hottest part of the days.
