Isolated lightning storms are possible overnight over the Atlantic waters and coastal sections, capable of producing occasional lightning strikes, gusty winds to 40 mph, and locally heavy rain. .RIP CURRENT AND SURF IMPACT... A High risk for dangerous, life-threatening rip currents and rough surf exist at all area beaches. Entering the surf is strongly discouraged. .WIND AND SEA IMPACT... A Small Craft Advisory remains in effect for the Atlantic coastal waters for East winds 20 knots gusting to 30 knots and seas 6 to 8 feet. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY. A higher probability of showers and storms is forecast from mid to late week as moisture increases ahead of an approaching area of low pressure over the western Atlantic. Breezy to gusty onshore flow will continue through mid to late week. Winds may remain elevated during the nighttime, especially along the coast. Poor to hazardous boating conditions through mid to late week as winds increase and seas build. Surf conditions will also be rough with a moderate to high risk for numerous, strong, life-threatening rip currents. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation will not be needed tonight. $$
