...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT CLAIBORNE...HANCOCK AND SOUTHERN
LEE COUNTIES THROUGH 630 PM EDT...

At 529 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
New Tazewell, or 11 miles southeast of Middlesboro, moving northeast
at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Sneedville, Jonesville, New Tazewell, Tazewell, Harrogate,
Springdale, Lone Mountain, Howard Quarter, Evanston, and Arthur.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
