Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Disorganized showers and thunderstorms located over
the western Caribbean Sea are associated with a very broad area
of low pressure. Environmental conditions appear favorable for
gradual development of this system during the next several days.
A tropical depression is likely to form while the system moves
slowly northward across the northwestern Caribbean Sea and Gulf
of Mexico through the end of the week. There is a high chance of
tropical cyclone formation in the next seven days. Regardless of
development, winds and seas will start increasing across the SE
Gulf early this week, and spread across the eastern Gulf
thereafter.

.TONIGHT...NE to E winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.
.MON...E winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.
.MON NIGHT...E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less, building to
3 ft late. Scattered showers and isolated tstms.
.TUE...E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. Scattered showers and
isolated tstms.
.TUE NIGHT...E to SE winds 20 to 25 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft, building
to 5 to 7 ft late.

.SYNOPSIS...A weak cold front from 31N67W to 28N76W will move
across the waters N of 25N through the middle of the week.
Mainly light to gentle winds, occasionally locally moderate,
will prevail. A set of northerly swell will propagate into the
northern waters Mon, bringing an increase in seas over the
waters N of 30N through the middle of the week.

.TONIGHT...E winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and NE to E 10 to 15 kt N
of 27N. Seas 2 ft or less S of 27N, and 3 to 4 ft N of 27N.
