.SYNOPSIS...Hurricane Helene is near 22.5N 86.6W at 5 PM EDT,
and is moving north at 10 kt. Maximum sustained winds are 75 kt
with gusts to 90 kt, and the minimum central pressure is 978 mb.
Helene will move to 24.1N 86.2W Thu morning, 27.4N 85.2W Thu
afternoon, inland N of the area near 32.1N 84.6W Fri morning,
and weaken as an extratropical cyclone near 37.1N 88.1W Sat
morning. Marine conditions will gradually improve across the
Gulf waters beginning on Fri or Fri night.

.TONIGHT...N to NE winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. Scattered
showers and isolated tstms.
.THU...N winds 20 to 25 kt. Seas 5 to 7 ft, building to 8 to
11 ft in the afternoon.
