This will create heat index values of 98 to 103, leading to an elevated risk of heat illness. Thunderstorms could develop in northeast Nebraska tonight. If storms develop, they could contain damaging winds and large hail. Locally heavy rainfall will also be possible, and some flooding could occur if the rains fall over the same areas that received 3 to 5 inches of rain Saturday evening. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday night through Sunday Hot temperatures in the middle 90s will continue Monday, with another day of heat index values from 95 to 100. Additional storms are in the forecast Tuesday afternoon and night as a frontal boundary moves into the region. These storms could also be severe, along with potentially flooding rain. The active weather pattern remains in the area with a daily chance for storms from Thursday through Saturday. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
