At 202 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Sterling to 4 miles north of Liberty to 5 miles southwest of Hollenberg, moving southeast at 65 mph. HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Emergency management reported 72 mph gusts along Highway 136 at the Gage Jefferson county line, and a 78 mph gust 1 mile south of Fairbury with this storm. The Beatrice airport measured a 66 mph gust as well. IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings. Locations impacted include...
