...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN WAYNE...WABASH...
EDWARDS...GIBSON AND PIKE COUNTIES THROUGH 430 PM CDT/530 PM EDT/...

At 347 PM CDT/447 PM EDT/, Doppler radar was tracking strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from 9 miles northeast of
Patoka to near Lancaster to near Fairfield. Movement was east
southeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Princeton, Mount Carmel, Fairfield, Fort Branch, Oakland City,
Petersburg, Albion, Grayville, Owensville, West Salem, Winslow,
Patoka, Allendale, Francisco, Jeffersonville, Somerville, Bellmont,
Hazleton, Bone Gap, and Keensburg.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 69 in Indiana between Mile Markers 28 and 52.
 Interstate 64 in Illinois between Mile Markers 108 and 115.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
